More and more people are becoming interested in eating locally grown food and that is a good thing. The best place to find food grown by local farmers and gardeners is the farmers market. There are over 2,000 farmers markets in the US and a great website to find one or more close to you is http://www.localharvest.org. Local harvest has a huge data base of over 10,000 farms, farmers markets, CSA's, etc., offering locally grown and often sustainably and organically grown food. It's the best place on the web to connect up with local food in your area. |
